OUR STORY

Malacopa Cocktail Mixers team is a community of international foodies, tech nerds, cocktail enthusiasts, chefs and soccer moms. Yes and a few of us live and work in Guadalajara Mexico. The concept of Malacopa started at the Bellagio Las Vegas making excellent cocktail and hand made mixers. Later, using these same recipes were tested and used in the opening of luxury properties in Asia and China. During COVID in Manhattan, we saw bartenders struggle with lack of good quality ingredients and lack of staff. Malacopa Cocktail Mixers are made to be easy to use and taste great. We source all our agave and fruits from Jalisco, Mexico. We currently feature our mixers in liter bottles, featuring the following flavors: Agave Margarita, Pina Colada, Mango Daiquiri, Ginger Beer and Agave Tonic Water.

Highlands of Jalisco

(Los Altos de Jalisco)

Los Altos de Jalisco, or the Jalisco Highlands, are a geographic and cultural region in the eastern part of the Mexican state of Jalisco, famed as a bastion of Mexican culture, home of traditions from Tequila production, Mariachi music and Charrería equestrianism.

The highlands agave is highly sought after for it’s rich flavor.

Origin matters because terroir is a major player in flavor just like it is for wine. Higher elevation and more exposure to sunlight results in more residual sugars, viscosity and weight to the agaves.

This terroir of the highlands gives Malacopa a unique taste for use in cocktails at home or behind the bar.

Production of Malacopa takes place in Atotonilco El Alto using local agave, natural spring water from our aquifer and fruits grown in Jalisco to capture the flavor of highlands terroir.

We pride ourselves on the use of local agave, fruits from our neighbors and natural spring water from our aquifer.

We at Malacopa know well the trials and tribulations of working long, hard hours behind a stove, behind a bar on a dining room floor. We at Malacopa are cut from the same cloth and here to help.

We are looking to work with hotels, restaurants, bars, ghost kitchens and boutique retails, who are looking to make some extra revenue.
